Following an eight year career in Real Estate development and construction project management, Mary Grise began her own interior design business in 1998. For seven years, she operated Mary Grise's Interior Design out of her home, servicing both commercial and residential clients. In 2005, she changed the name of the business to The Inside View, LLC and opened her first design studio in downtown Haverhill.
In 2011, The Inside View relocated to its current site at 18 Essex Street. The design studio is a light-filled, renovated shoe factory and houses thousands of finish samples, including flooring, fabrics, paint, stone, wood, laminates, shades and blinds; window treatments and many, many more items. Clients are welcome to browse samples and a selection of retail accessory items.

This waterfront condominium's 1970's style kitchen was in need of a makeover.
The client reached out to us to create an open-concept space that extended from the kitchen to the dining area while adding a modern, classical elegance to the space.
We started the renovation by removing the kitchen wall adjacent to the dining area to effectively capture views of the water.
We then brought natural sunlight to all three sides by adding windows and skylights.
Design elements include high-end finishes, painted and glazed wood cabinetry, wood-look porcelain tile floors, quartz stone counter-tops and stainless steel appliances.

The client wanted us to improve their 137sf master bathroom by creating a contemporary spa.
To give the space a more open feel, we connected the shower and Jacuzzi tub with a custom glass enclosure.
Their need for additional storage was incorporated into custom cabinetry.
Decorative glass tile was used throughout the bathroom.
Natural wood trim and beams were painted white to lighten the space.
The tub features a custom tile design that extends into the bathroom walls and vanity.
To brighten the space even more, we incorporated painted trim beams, added a neutral porcelain floor tile, and incorporated modern stainless steel fixtures.

Mary Grise and her team at The Inside View were a pleasure to work with during our four-month office renovation.
They understood our desire for a warm inviting office space that was also functional.
The result they obtained far exceeded our expectations.
Their attention to detail, especially with the reflective lighting in our reception area and the warm inviting colors throughout the office made our project a huge success.
Our team and our patients thoroughly enjoy the bright spacious rooms and the soothing colors scheme.
