We're Amy Storm & Company, a Glen Ellyn interior design studio and retail store committed to creating inspiring spaces, and we're glad you've found us. We do our best work collaborating early on to understand your big-picture vision, then we create a way to carry that vision through to the final touches. Our home furnishings store is more of a bonus feature, open to any and all, and loaded with an impressive selection of artwork, Amy-approved finds, and one-of-a-kinds from our private label line.

An in-person meeting is the best way to get to know us, and we're happy to make that happen. Until then, have a look through some of our most recent projects - or browse the online store. We hope you like what you see. We know the building/remodeling/interior design process has the potential to be stressful, so we do everything we can to keep the joy-factor in play.

Having a flair for stunning style and intuitive understanding of livability is one thing (a great thing). Comprehensive knowledge of the structural and architectural aspect of design is a whoooooole other (even better) thing.

Amy has assembled a small-but-mighty-talented crew of degreed interior designers, seasoned project managers and other industry pros who share her vision for beauty, appreciation for creative and practical space planning and passion for perfection, down to the minutest of details.
There's no shortage of talent in the interior design industry - particularly here in Chicago.
But when it comes to a challenging remodel (as most are), new construction or a full decorating do-over, you need a team that can deliver.
Truth be told, there are a million decisions to be made during any project.
Whether it's space planning on new construction, switching diagrams for lighting layouts, a complete set of documents for a remodel, details for bath tile, the fill on your cushions or the right frame for the art on your wall - we're equipped to deftly handle all those details, from start to finish.
We're giver-backers (always have been!).
It's ingrained in who we are.
We feel we have a responsibility to serve those around us, and we do not take this lightly.
We are actively engaged in giving back to communities far and wide, enhancing the spaces in which people live, learn and labor by providing service and support to those in need.
From helping single moms get back on their feet in our own local area (Bridge Communities), to assisting impoverished families and helping restore communities outside the US (Bright Hope International).
Have a project in mind?
Tell us about it below.
It helps if you can tell us your location, the kind of work you want to have done and when you'd like to start.
Any and all details are extremely helpful.
If you're thinking about a small renovation or whole house furnishings, please keep in mind our minimum job cost.
Do you have any architectural plans or current photos of your space you'd like to share with us?
Don't worry, it's not a requirement.
We only ask so we understand your familiarity with the process and to see where we need to guide our conversations.
A church steeple-laden college town with some cooooool Underground Railroad history and a crowded-for-a-reason French Market.
To the donut cart!
Breakfast and burger joints abound, and it sits right along the weirdly reverse-tracked Union Pacific West Line (lots of theories on that one - none of them conspiracy-driven, more re: the practicalities of boarding or possible British origin of the folks calling the construction shots).
The neighborhoods vary in style, with blocks of painted ladies (Victorians, not the "of the night" kind), stretch north from downtown - while rows of classic Chicago brick bungalows sit northeast of campus.
