Many firms are skilled in either creative design or project management, but few excel in both. That's where we differ. In other words, the MADGI team believes that product and process are equally important. Through every phase of a project, we integrate aesthetics into the practical demands of budget and schedule, providing a comprehensive service that connects ideas to results.
Montroy Andersen DeMarco (MADGI) was founded in 1990 by Dan Montroy, AIA and Steven Andersen, who first met in Italy during a study program at the American University of Rome. In the late '80s, Dan offered Steven the opportunity to join him in creating a new firm. Steven agreed, and Montroy Andersen was born. In 2005, with demand for the firm's style of service growing, Dan and Steven joined forces with fellow NYIT graduate Richard J. DeMarco, AIA who became the third principal.
A veteran architect who was then an associate partner at SLCE Architects, Richard enabled the studio to expand its new buildings practice.

The scope of work varies from project to project.
