Satterberg Desonier Dumo Interior Design is a Seattle-based interior design firm specializing in beautiful, highly functional interior architecture and space planning. Our award-winning reputation is rooted in sound architectural training and more than twenty years of design experience in Seattle and the surrounding Puget Sound communities. My name is Kirsten Dumo and I am the lead interior designer here at Satterberg Desonier Dumo.
My passion is found in making unique spaces both highly functional and aesthetically appealing. I have a gift for viewing spaces with the eye of an architect and utilize my problem-solving skills to synthesize my client's vision for their home. In addition to detailed layout drawings, I offer my clients 3-D renderings and elevations that allow you to truly envision how your spaces will be transformed.
My specialties include interior space planning and design, kitchen and bath design, lighting, as well as selection of fixtures, finishes, colors and furnishings.

Services
Ever since I was a child I've enjoyed planning innovative layouts and functional, beautiful interiors.
That early passion for design led me to the University of Washington where I earned my degree in Architecture in 1992.
After spending three years at the Seattle Design Center I co-founded Satterberg Desonier Dumo Interior Design in 1995 with my mother and business partner, Nancy Satterberg, ASID.
Over the last 20 years, Satterberg Desonier Dumo Interior Design has been honored with many design awards, including a Gold MAME award for Custom Home of the Year.

She listened to my goals, wish lists, and ideas, and took them into account in her design.
And she offered her opinions when they were most helpful.
She really thinks through how a person would use a space, not just how it would look.
I can't say enough about her organizational skills, her creativity, her broad knowledge in renovations and furnishings, her ability to focus and stay on task, and her accuracy of information.
To meet with her to select materials and designs was such a fun experience, and we always enjoyed our time together.
