The term "Motorized" represents all of the above.
The window covering is not operated manually, it is "powered" by a power source and "controlled" by some sort of remote / switch / mobile device or panel.
Therefore, each shade or blind has a concealed motor in the head rail that receives a command from the power source to do something- go up, go down, open, tilt, etc.
The press of a button and you can tilt blinds, or raise or lower shades, even when high up and in multiple rooms.
You can also group shades to operate together, or independently.
