Laura Redd has had a lifelong passion for design. She studied architecture in high school and fell deeply in love with the ability to create. Redd earned her first degree in computer science and programing and a minor in accounting. After getting married, she and her husband moved to Germany, where she studied interior design. After returning, she started working for a Raleigh based design company, Interiors by Royce and Joe in window treatments, remodeling and whole house design.
By 1998, she founded Laura Redd Interiors in Raleigh to begin her design career. After relocating her company to Greensboro in 2003 she worked for other design companies to get the lay of the land, quickly realizing Redd Interiors does design like no one else. What sets her business apart is Redd's belief that not every project should be a total removal.
