A spontaneous wax sculpture created by the dance of a flame; the fragrance of a Garden Rose; the romance of the Peony; the flight that lives inside a feather; the luminous reflection of a mirror; my magic makers. Tallulah & Bird Interior Design is a Philadelphia based design studio founded in 2010 by Principal Tallulah Regan. A robust portfolio of work includes commercial and residential projects that are simultaneously aesthetically beautiful and functional.

Adept at all aspects of the design process our firm conceptually develops each project according to its unique program. Unencumbered by any period style, our design aesthetic transcends any limiting parameters and evolves with each project and client. Our work includes residential projects from the ground up, all encompassing whole house renovations, kitchen and bathroom design and remodeling, unique boutique design, inspiring work spaces, restaurants, beer gardens and wine gardens.

A love of organic materials, whimsical lighting, antiques, flea market and vintage objects, and sustainability results in imaginative, innovative spaces that are both unique and timeless.

We love all the interior design work that we do, but this one in Philadelphia is one of our favorites.
The client really trusted us to transform the space in to something very special and we think that the results are just that!
Designing an event is really temporary Interior Installation.
The cake, the food, the entertainment; just additional detailing that must augment the overall sensibility.
There is so much creative freedom and so much joy in bringing all the components together successfully.
I love being part of a moment in time that will be remembered through picture albums and carried in the minds eye forever.
It is no secret that we at Tallulah & Bird love Philadelphia.
It is also no secret that Chestnut Hill is one of our very favorite of the many awesome Philadelphia neighborhoods.
The benefit of being licensed in the business of real estate dovetails seamlessly with the design firm.
Our vision for what an old relic can become has opened vast options for buyers looking for something very special, and demystifies the process of how the transformation can happen.
Our desire for saving solidly built, deserving structures has been instrumental in our developing our skills in reimagining a building to become some of our favorite projects to date.
When there is no hope for saving a structure, we work hard to create something that interfaces contextually well with the surrounding environment.
And then there is Jeff.
On a fortuitous day way back when, I was in college and he was already investing in real estate and developing his company as a builder.
We were together forever from the moment we met.
He quickly took to calling me Tallulah, the endearment bestowed upon me by my Italian mother.
My dreamy and passionate approach to life and design, coupled with his pragmatic, truly brilliant ability to seamlessly interface all elements of construction is the life-source of Tallulah & Bird.
