In 1975 Sam Yehaskel decided that he wanted to start a business that would reflect his creative side.
He chose to start selling custom window treatments.
At the time, Wood blinds, aluminum blinds, shutters, and drapery were available.
Vertical blinds were the brand new custom window treatment and you could get them in at least half a dozen colors!
A few years later the Yehaskels moved to Great Neck, NY where they remain today.
As his custom window treatment business grew Sam began to fabricate custom drapery as well, and drapery soon became the cornerstone of his custom window treatment business.
He chose to start selling custom window treatments.
