Karly's Kustom is a woman-owned business based in Houma, Louisiana serving the South Louisiana Area, since 2016. We are a one-stop shop specializing in all your custom soft home furnishings needs. Karly Dickson, owner and artisan, began her journey in 2011. She began to see the quality in antiques and older furnishings that just need to be revitalized instead of being discarded.
Utilizing her crafting skills and technical background, she began getting educated in the proper techniques to create custom upholstery and home furnishing projects. Her continued education with industry leaders and her affiliations in the National Upholstery Association, Window Coverings Association of America, and attendance at the Customer Workroom Conferences keep her up-to-date in all the newest techniques, products, and safety requirements for the highest quality products.
She was selected in 2018 and for the upcoming 2020 International Window Coverings Expo as an Artisan Project winner. These design projects are displayed at the show and are published in Vision Magazine (A window coverings industry magazine).
