Baja California, locale of blue green seas, rock formations, blue skies and sandy beaches.
It's an ideal place for a second home, which is exactly what sparked a new collaboration between long-standing clients and Hyde Evans Design for a spa-inspired getaway.
A spa feel was one goal for the Seattle, Washington-area couple, they also wanted splashes of color and a visible connection to Mexico.
That connection to Mexico was achieved in part by working with local architect, Arturo Ponce De Leon and his team; and through buying trips to Oaxaca to meet with weavers for handmade local accents and working with local furniture artisans from the state of Jalisco for custom furniture pieces.
