Founded by Janet Mertz Young in 1983, Blind Ambitions began as a small business selling custom window treatments to family and friends.
In 1986, our product line was expanded to include retractable awnings.
We soon expanded to meet the needs of the booming timeshare market developing in the Pocono Mountains and, to this day, Blind Ambitions is a small, local, family-owned and operated business run from an old stone barn located at the base of the Blue Mountain in New Tripoli, PA.
