CHK Architects was founded by Eamon Clohessy A.I.A. and James Harris A.I.A. in 1987. Initially concentrating on the design of new commercial office buildings, they soon expanded their architectural firm to include Interior Design and Facilities Planning & Design.
In 1989, Richard Kaiser, A.I.A joined the firm and significantly grew the Interior segment of this architectural practice serving the corporate community in greater Hartford.

In addition to his primary focus on daily business operations, new business development, and maintaining CHK's long-standing client relationships, he also assumes the role of Principal-in-Charge of CHK's largest and most complex projects, including the Pratt & Whitney Engineering & Technology Center.
His range of expertise includes corporate office design, tenant fit-outs, corporate fitness and wellness centers, healthcare, and auto dealerships.
