Owned by Venus Williams and established in 2002 because of her love of design and business, V Starr is a South Florida-based full-service interior design firm specializing in commercial design with a focus on hospitality and multifamily, and experience in the high-end residential market. We pride ourselves on the close relationships we build with everyone we work with, which in turn means you will always have direct contact with those working on your projects.

At the tender age of 14, Venus Williams had already become a professional athlete, taking the world of tennis by storm.
Fiercely determined and wielding an impressive physical prowess, she spent the next decade rising to the top-ranked position and winning numerous championships, including the U.S. Open, Wimbledon and doubles at the Australian Open and French Open in addition to three Olympic Gold medals.
In accepting her award, Venus spoke of the importance of treating all people equally and speaking out against injustice.

Beginning her career in 2005, Holly Nixon joined V Starr in early 2018 as Design Director.
She began her career in Sydney, Australia as an Interior Designer for a multi-disciplinary global architecture company gaining experience on all aspects of the design process and focusing on concepts and developing designs for large-scale retail and mega-mall projects across Australia, the Philippines, and China.
Her desire to expand on an international level saw her move to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, to undertake an extensive mix of casino, hospitality, and entertainment projects across the US and Asia.
She began her career in Sydney, Australia as an Interior Designer for a multi-disciplinary global architecture company gaining experience on all aspects of the design process and focusing on concepts and developing designs for large-scale retail and mega-mall projects across Australia, the Philippines, and China.

Sanna Tilley is a Senior Designer at V Starr, and has designed and managed multiple projects since joining the company in 2014.
Sanna started her design career doing high-end residential design work, including several PGA Tour players' personal residences.
After becoming a member of the V Starr team, she has worked on commercial projects in Florida, Texas, and New York ranging from Athletic Shops, Marketplaces, to Multi-Family and Condo Buildings.
Sanna works out of the firm's Northeast location in the New York Metro area.

She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, and began her career in Miami in 2014 before moving to Texas for a couple of years to expand her experience.
After realizing that sunshine and beaches are near and dear to her heart, she made the move back to South Florida and joined V Starr bringing her hospitality design experience with her.
When she isn't designing, you can find her enjoying a chai tea and curled up with a good mystery book and her cat on her lap.
She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, and began her career in Miami in 2014 before moving to Texas for a couple of years to expand her experience.

Born and raised in South Florida, Tinisha graduated with an Associates of Science in Interior Design from Palm Beach State College in 2017.
This is Tinisha's first major interior design firm and she is excited about all she will learn with us.
Her favorite quote is "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm Possible" - Audrey Hepburn.
That is also our belief here at V Starr so she fits right in.
Tinisha spends time with friends, family and her dog Lucky when she isn't perusing museums and gardens to get more design inspiration.
