Amy Thomasson, owner and principal designer of House of Amelia, an interior design firm in Dallas, has been designing Dallas interiors and second homes around the country for the past 13 years. After receiving her degree in Interior Design from Baylor University in 1999, she continued to hone her design skills and knowledge working with well-respected design influencers in the Dallas design community before opening House of Amelia.

This lovely home was designed by an architect and took several years to come together.
From ground up design and space planning concepts to the selection of interior finished custom millwork, tile designs and lighting, every detail was thought about and given attention.
This client wanted to create a warm and inviting home for his family and friends.
We used soft modern details and plenty of light and bright finishes.
From the custom stain on the wood flooring to the perfect white color on the walls, the finishes were tested and tweaked until they were perfect.

Thrift Studio is a bi-annual 30 day pop-up shop created to provide financial viability and fundraising for Dwell with Dignity through selling the overstock of donated, gently used furniture, housewares, accessories and high end designer finds to the public.
All proceeds benefit the future work, growth, organization and structure of Dwell with Dignity!
Each Thrift Studio has a cast of fabulous designers that design and install vignettes using items from our warehouse as well as items they have donated from their own inventory.

They already had plenty of artwork to choose from in their well-established collection, so it was just a matter of finding the right places for the pieces in their new home.
