Starting in 1998, after being in the fashion world, I began my interior decorating career at ABC Carpet & Home in New York City.
My speciality was fabrics from re-upholstery to beautiful custom window treatments.
While at ABC I diversified from fabrics into lighting, furniture, and accessories.
I then went on to study at the New York School of Interior Design and Berkeley College.
In 2006 I started Alex by Design, LLC as an interior decorating firm in Upper Montclair, NJ.
Creativity, as has been said, consists largely of rearranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know.
