My passion is working with fabrics and turning ideas into creations.
As a young child I sat with my grandmother in England while she worked at her sewing machine, and marvelled at how she was able to make her home beautiful on a modest budget.
Not only did she support the local schools in their productions, she also inspired her friends and family.
Very soon I realized that I wanted to do the same.
As a six foot tall young woman, being able to make and alter clothes was as much a necessity as a luxury.
