Our school is undergoing significant changes in the coming months and we are excited to share some of the details with our future students. We are proud to announce that we have recently been fully approved to offer our Certificate Program 100% online!

We have received approval from our accreditors (ACCSC), the State of Arizona, and the US Department of Education to offer distance education. Other changes to our certificate program include new courses and a new semester-based format. Students will be able to take up to 5 courses per semester, consistent with typical colleges and universities that most people are familiar with.

We will be changing our program from 28 to 30 semester credits, and our certificate program can be completed in 30 academic weeks (2 semesters). As a student you will learn a balance of residential as well as commercial design topics in a high energy and fun academic setting.
Services
The American Institute of Interior Design (AIID) is a private post-secondary institution offering a unique program of study in Interior Design.
AIID has been educating Interior Design students continuously since 1988, and has over 1,000 graduates since its inception.
AIID is institutionally accredited by ACCSC (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges).
ACCSC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
We have been continuously accredited since 2008 and strive to maintain the highest levels of educational operation and compliance.
At this time we are only accepting applications from students who have an Arizona address.
You should only complete this admissions application if you are planning on joining AIID as a student.
All applicants must complete the admissions application as a requirement to attend AIID.
The information requested will be held in confidence and will not be distributed outside of AIID.
If the information submitted is not complete or is inaccurate, it may delay your application while we request further information.
At AIID, we break free from the mold of traditional schools.
We teach only Interior Design through a practical, hands-on, and accelerated learning approach: we call it "bootcamp for designers".
We teach you how to make money in design.
Graduate Placement Assistance is provided for all AIID graduates.
We can't guarantee you a job after you graduate, but we can guarantee that we will work as hard as we can and utilize all our contacts in the design industry to help as much as possible.
Please refer to our published Graduation and Employment Rates to see our score card when it comes to placing our graduates in the field of Interior Design.
Successful graduation from High School or equivalent -Copies of official transcripts must be uploaded to AIID.
Diplomas WILL NOT be accepted.
If AIID has reason to believe that the high school transcript is not valid or was not obtained from an entity that provides secondary school education, AIID will determine if the school is recognized by the Department of Education in the state, and/or has a CEEB code.
If a school is not recognized by a department of education or has no physical address, then the student would be required to submit a GED before we would evaluate the application.
Many students and their families seek financial help in paying for a college education.
American Institute of Interior Design participates in Department of Education financial aid programs and will provide assistance to prospective students in determining eligibility for loans and grants.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
Complete details regarding financial aid are available through the Financial Aid Office and prospective students are encouraged to meet with the Financial Aid Director at any time.
